Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This policy explains how Ailumallc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when merchants install and use Listing AI Builder (the “App”) for Shopify.
1. Information we process
- Shop and connection information: your Shopify shop domain, authorization credentials, granted permissions, and installation and update timestamps.
- Product content: photos you upload, supplier links and imported content, product details and prompts, generated images and text, titles, descriptions, tags, prices, specifications, variants, and Shopify product identifiers.
- Usage and service information: plan, credit balance, generation counts, job status and results, errors, and related timestamps. If you use a chat feature, conversation content and history may also be stored.
- Technical and support information: request and diagnostic logs, and information you send when contacting us. Hosting and other service providers may process connection information such as IP addresses.
The App currently requests Shopify product read and write permissions. Its core features do not request access to Shopify customer records or orders. Please do not upload sensitive personal information, customer lists, payment details, or photos of people without the necessary permission.
2. How we use information
We use information to connect your store; analyze product photos; generate, import, edit, and save listings; publish products to Shopify when requested; manage plans and credits; troubleshoot errors; provide support; and protect the service.
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to provide the service under our agreement with you, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the App. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it, without affecting processing already carried out.
3. Service providers and sharing
Information is shared as needed to provide the features you use:
- Shopify: store authorization, product access and publishing, and app billing. Payment processing takes place through Shopify; the App does not collect your full payment card details.
- Replit: application hosting, database and file infrastructure, and AI integration services.
- OpenAI and Google Gemini: processing product images, prompts, and relevant content for AI features, including text and image generation. Requests may be routed through Replit AI integrations.
- Apify: retrieving product information from supplier links, including AliExpress, Alibaba, and Temu.
- Content delivery and font providers: serving external resources used by the App, which can involve receiving browser connection information.
Providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of the service. The App does not include a feature for selling merchant data or sharing it for targeted advertising.
4. Images and external sources
Uploaded, imported, and generated images are stored at web-accessible URLs so they can be displayed and used in listings. Anyone with an image URL may be able to access it; do not treat these URLs as private storage. Content you publish to Shopify is subject to your store’s visibility settings and Shopify’s policies. Supplier websites operate under their own policies.
5. Retention and deletion
App records and files are stored to support the service. There is currently no automatic expiry period for stored listings or image files. Deleting a listing in the App removes its listing record but may not remove associated image files. Uninstalling the App clears its stored Shopify access credential but does not automatically erase all stored listings, images, usage records, or other app data.
To request access to or deletion of retained information, email contact@lamarcaa.com with your shop domain and request details. Do not send passwords or access tokens. We may need to verify your authority over the store. Requests are reviewed under applicable law, including any legal retention requirements. Removing data from the App does not by itself remove products already published to Shopify.
6. Your choices and rights
You can choose which content to submit, edit stored listings, and uninstall the App to stop its access to your store. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Merchants are responsible for having appropriate rights and notices for content they submit and for their own customer-facing privacy obligations.
7. International processing and security
Our hosting and service providers may process information outside your country, where data protection laws may differ. Applicable protections depend on the provider, service, and law. We use authentication and access controls to restrict app operations, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and browser resources
The App uses Shopify’s embedded-app authentication mechanisms. Shopify and infrastructure providers may use cookies or similar technologies for their services. This policy page does not load advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or external fonts.
9. Children
The App is intended for business users managing Shopify stores, not for children. Do not knowingly submit children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe such information has been provided.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the App or its practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
